The sensational soprano and ATMA recording artist Karina Gauvin has been nominated for a 2010 “Indie” Award in the category of FAVOURITE CLASSICAL ARTIST/GROUP.

Canadian Music Fest and Galaxie present the 10th Annual Independent Music Awards on Saturday, March 13 at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto. The Indies acknowledge, promote and honour achievements of Canadian and international artists in the independent music sector.

Ms. Gauvin recently appeared with the Colorado and Chicago symphony orchestras, and will give five performances in Toronto with Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra in late March.
