Tenor Marc Hervieux charms listeners with a bouquet of popular French and Québécois songs in arrangements by Simon Leclerc, performed by the Orchestre symphonique de Québec. Mes Plaisirs was recorded in February 2013 before a live audience at the Salle Louis-Fréchette in Québec City. For this recording, Hervieux has chosen 12 love songs by such iconic greats as Edith Piaf, Jacques Brel, Daniel Lavoie, Charles Aznavour, and Gilbert Bécaud.
With his natural affinity for a wide variety of musical styles, Hervieux has also collaborated with many popular Quebec artists including Ginette Reno, Gilles Vigneault, Yvon Deschamps, Isabelle Boulay, and Patsy Gallant. His two previous ATMA recordings A Napoli, and Le Premier Noël reached gold status, having sold more than 40,000 copies each — an unprecedented success for a classical singer in Quebec.
