In 2002, Quebec City native Michèle Motard graduated with first prize from the Conservatoire de musique de Québec. From 2002 to 2005, with Ensemble Anonymus, she took part in many concerts in Canada and France. In the same period, she sang in Chekov’s Three Sisters directed by Wajdi Mouawad, at the Théâtre du Trident in Quebec, in Montreal at the TNM and in many cities of France. In 2007, she premieres the integral version of Ana Sokolovic's Pesma with the ECM+ and opera-performance by Jimmie Leblanc with Les Enfants Terribles. She also performed Schoenberg's Pierrot Lunaire with great theatrical and vocal facillity. During the 2009-2010 season, she will take part in the premiere performance of two operas: L'eau qui danse, la pomme qui chante et l'oiseau qui dit la vérité by Gilles Tremblay, with Chants Libres and Les aventures de Madame Merveille by André Ristic, with ECM+. In 2010, she will accompany the Théâtre du Trident to Moscow for the
restaging of Chekov’s Three Sisters. In addition, since 2005, she composes and interprets film music.
