Praised for his creamy, bright, smooth voice, and his spell-binding, daring, yet sensitive interpretations, Phillip Addis is a rising star on the international stage, performing throughout Canada, the United States, Europe, and Japan. Highlights this season include his role debut as Belcore (L'elisir d'amore) with Atlanta Opera, Roderick Usher (The Fall of the House of Usher) with Opéra Français de New York, John Brooke (Little Women) with Calgary Opera, the Count (The Marriage of Figaro) with Opera Atelier in Toronto, and his Paris debut with the Opéra Comique in the title role of Pelléas et Mélisande. Last OdM appearance: Les Pêcheurs de Perles (2008).
