Le Choeur classique d'Ottawa

, choir

In 2006, soprano Maria Knapik and conductor Michel Brousseau joined forces to form the Ottawa Classical Choir. Its mission: to give choral singers of the Ottawa region the opportunity to perform high-quality concerts with world-renowned artists, and to raise money for those most in need. In 2006, the choir gave its first benefit concert, in aid of The International Day of the Child, at the Dominion Chalmers United church in Ottawa. Under the lively baton of Maestro Brousseau, the choir has since performed its repertoire of secular and sacred works fromthe Classical repertoire in Ottawa, and in several cities in Quebec, through it’s collaboration with the other choirs under Michel Brousseau’s direction.
