Mark Bleeke

Tenor Mark Bleeke sings music of the Medieval, Renaissance, Baroque, Classical, Contemporary, Operatic, Jazz and Popular genres. He sang the role of Daniel in Ensemble for Early Music’s production of Daniel and the Lions well over one hundred times in festivals worldwide. As a frequent guest with The Folger Consort he has enjoyed performing Elizabethan songs, and his portrayal of a troubadour, is featured in the PBS broadcast and recording of The Power of Myth with Bill Moyers and Joseph Campbell. Mr . Bleeke appeared as Apollo in Boston Early Music Festival’s production of Monteverdi’s Orfeo, and sang his Vespers of 1610 with the Tavener Consort, both under the direction of Andrew Parrott.
