Anne Thivierge obtained a Master’s degree in modern flute at the Université de Montréal with Lise Daoust, She pursued her studies in Paris with Raymond Guiot (modern flute) and Marc Hantaï (baroque flute). She obtained in 2006 a Master’s degree with great distinction in baroque transverse flute at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels (Belgium) with Barthold Kuijken and Frank Theuns. She plays in Europe, United States, and Canada with ensembles such as Le Concert des Nations (Jordi Savall), L’Ensemble Pygmalion (Raphaël Pichon), Le Concert Étranger (Itay Jedlin), Boston Baroque (Martin Pearlman), Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra (Jeanne Lamon), Les Boréades (Francis Colpron), l’Ensemble Masques (Olivier Fortin), Pallade Musica, Les Violons du Roy, and La Chamaille.
