Violinist and violist Ellie Nimeroski specializes in period instrument performance and plays with ensembles Arion, Tafelmusik, and Clavecin en Concert. Over the past two years she has had the opportunity to continue her baroque violin studies in Europe, and she is grateful to her teacher,
Florence Malgoire. She performs with Paris’ Les Talens Lyriques, directed by Christophe Rousset as well as with Les Paladins, directed by Jérôme Corréas. She is currently pursuing research about the “Tourte” violin bow and Beethoven’s Kreutzer sonata in the framework of the docARTES programme at the Orpheus Instituut, Ghent. Ellie Nimeroski plays regularly with La Nef.
