Claude Webster has been affiliated with l’Opéra de Montréal for the past 15 years. He is the head coach of the company’s young artist program « l’Atelier lyrique ». Claude is also involved in Opéra de Montréal’s productions as chorus master and pianist –coach.
He has worked on more than 50 productions, including most recently : Macbeth, Fanciulla del West, Roméo et Juliette, Ballo in maschera, Lakmé, Gianni Schicchi and Pagliacci .
For the past six summers Claude has been the French Repertoire Coach at the International Vocal Arts Institute in Tel Aviv. The prestigious program is run by Joan Dorneman from the Metropolitain Operas.
A prizewinner of many Canadian and American competition (Montreal Symphony Orchestra, CBC National Competition, Young artist International Competition in New York), he toured several times across Canada, the United States, Japan, France, Switzerland and Greece, and was a guest soloist with the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, Orchestre Métropolitain, Orchestre de chamber de Radio-Canada and National Arts Centre Orchestra in Ottawa.
He is also a certified NLP ( neuro linguistic programmation) coach.
