A musician of great sensitivity, Louise Pellerin shares with the public her passion and enthusiasm for music, drawing from a rich palette of sound, colours, and expressions.
Born in Canada and now living in Switzerland, she has toured in Canada, the United States, South America, Europe, Japan, and South Korea, and been invited to international festivals (Athens, Lucerne, Zurich, Salzburg, Vienna, Berlin, London, Paris, Rome, Tokyo, New York, Montreal, Toronto). Louise Pellerin plays with Heinz Holliger, Erich Höbarth, Leonidas Kavakos, Radovan Vlatkovic, and András Schiff, and she is currently working with Camerata Salzburg and Capella Andrea Barca.
Louise Pellerin graduated with high distinction from the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal (Réal Gagnier, Bernard Jean) and the MHS Freiburg im Breisgau (Heinz Holliger). She is now professor of oboe and chamber music at the HMT Zurich. She gives master classes in Canada and Europe and is a jury member at international competitions.
