Benjamin Waterhouse

Benjamin Waterhouse was born in 1961 in England, where he began his musical training. After obtaining his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in organ performance at Laval University in Québec, with Antoine Bouchard and Antoine Reboulot, he studied at the Conservatory in Grenoble, France, with Pierre Perdigon. He went on to complete a Doctorate at the University of Montreal with Réjean Poirier; his doctoral dissertation examined the question of harmonic rhythm in the organ works of J.S. Bach.

For the last twelve years Benjamin Waterhouse has been the organist of St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church in Québec.
