ATMA's finalists for 2018 Opus Prizes

Six ATMA Classique recordings have been nominated for 2018 OPUS prizes in four different categories!
The nominees are:

Album of the year: Medieval, Renaissance, or Baroque music:

- Orlando di Lasso: Laudate Dominum, Le Studio de musique ancienne de Montréal, Andrew McAnerney

Album of the year : Classical, Romantic, Post-romantic or Impressionist music :

- Bruckner 2, Orchestre Métropolitain, Yannick Nézet-Séguin
- Mozart: Mozart: Concertos cor - Concerto pour basson, Louis-Philippe Marsolais, Mathieu Lussier, Les Violons du Roy


Album of the year: Modern or contemporary music:

- Kurtag: Complete String Quartets, Quatuor Molinari
- Toquade, Marina Thibeault, Janelle Fung


Album of the year: World Music:

- Sea Songs & Shanties, La Nef, Sean Dagher

The prizes will be awarded at the Opus Prize Gala on Sunday February 4, 2018, at salle Bourgie, Musée des beaux-arts de Montréal.
