Elaine Lachica

Elaine Lachica has been a soloist with the New York Collegium under the direction of Andrew Parrott, at the Montréal Baroque Festival and the Tage Alter Musik Festival in Regensburg, Germany, under the baton of Eric Milnes, as well as with the baroque ensemble REBEL, Les Voix humaines, L’Harmonie des Saisons, the Waverly Consort, Opera Omnia, the Rose Ensemble, Ensemble Caprice, and the Mark Morris Dance Company at Lincoln Center, as part of the Mostly Mozart Festival. She was the 2014 winner of the Bruce Haynes International Competition for Vocal Performance of the Music of Johann Sebastian Bach; to mark the occasion, a studio recording will be produced on the ATMA Classique label as part of the Bach Cantata Series presented by Montréal Baroque.
