Éliane Charest-Beauchamp
A member of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra since March 2018, Éliane Charest-Beauchamp received the “Prix avec grande distinction à l’unanimité” from the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal, where she studied with Anne Robert. With the support of a full scholarship, she went on to refine her training with Andrew Wan at McGill University.
Her performance of Wieniawski’s Second Concerto with the Orchestre Métropolitain in 2011 earned high praise from Claude Gingras in La Presse: “Just as she is expressive in the Romance, she proves an impeccably precise technician in the dazzling final Allegro.”
Éliane Charest-Beauchamp has served as concertmaster of the Orchestra of the Americas, the McGill Symphony Orchestra, and the Conservatoire de musique de Montréal Symphony Orchestra, which invited her to perform Beethoven’s Violin Concerto in 2015.
