Hélène Brunet

Praised for her “singing of perfect beauty and her radiant stage presence,” Canadian soprano Hélène Brunet brings equal delight to the music of Bach, Handel, Mozart, and the repertoire of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.

She has appeared with numerous renowned orchestras and ensembles, including American Bach Soloists in San Francisco, the American Classical Orchestra at the prestigious Lincoln Center, the Seattle Baroque Orchestra, the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, the McGill Chamber Orchestra, Arion Baroque Orchestra, Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, I Musici de Montréal, the Orchestre Métropolitain in Montreal, as well as Ensemble Caprice and Les Boréades.

Hélène Brunet has received significant awards and distinctions, among them the Johannes Somary Award at the Oratorio Society of New York competition held at Carnegie Hall. She can also be heard with L’Harmonie des Saisons on the Juno Award–winning album Las Ciudades de Oro (ATMA). She is a proud recipient of a professional development grant from the Canada Council for the Arts.
