His many artistic achievements span a long and distinguished career. He began his training at the Vancouver Academy of Music and the University of British Columbia, where he studied with Kum Sing Lee. During the summers that followed, he continued his studies with Marek Jablonski and pursued chamber music with Lorand Fenyves at the Banff Centre. He later earned his master’s and doctoral degrees under Adele Marcus at the Juilliard School.
