Odette Beaupré

A graduate of the Conservatoire de musique du Québec, Odette Beaupré won First Prize at the Toronto International Music/Dance Festival, was a laureate of the Indiana Opera’s MacAllister Competition, and a recipient of a Chalmers Foundation grant from the Ontario Arts Council. She subsequently pursued advanced studies in the United States and at the Canadian Opera Company’s workshop in Toronto. Her career has taken her throughout Canada and the United States, notably to the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Ms. Beaupré is part of the cast of Ravel’s L’Enfant et les sortilèges, recorded by the Montreal Symphony Orchestra, and regularly participates in radio and television broadcasts. She has over fifty roles in her repertoire, and critics unanimously praise the richness of her voice and her stage presence.
