Allyson McHardy

Called “a singer of enormous imagination and versatility” (The San Francisco Chronicle), Allyson McHardy began this season as Suzuki (Madama Butterfly) at the Canadian Opera Company, and continues with appearances as Jo (Little Women) at Calgary Opera, Adalgisa (Norma) with the Warsaw Philharmonic, and in Szymanowski’s Stabat Mater at Rome’s Santa Cecilia. Recent seasons included Rosina (The Barber of Seville) at the Minnesota Opera, Olga (Eugene Onegin) at the Vancouver Opera and the Canadian Opera Company, and Isabella (L’Italiana in Algeri) in Lille, Amiens, and Caen. Future engagements include her Glyndebourne debut in the title role of La Cenerentola.
