ATMA Classique now an Apple Music Curator

ATMA Classique is thrilled to announce that the label is now curating exclusive playlists for Apple Music.

To launch as an Apple Music Curator, ATMA has created five new playlists showcasing some of the label's top internationally renowned artists: conductor Yannick Nézet-Seguin, pianist Janina Fialkowska, soprano Karina Gauvin, and tenor Marc Hervieux. A special holiday playlist, just in time for the festive season, features timeless favourites including The Coventry Carol, In dulci jubilo, White Christmas, and a French version of Silent Night, among others. David Willcocks’ Classical arrangements of Once in Royal David’s City and Hark! The herald angels sing from ATMA’s newly released LUX, featuring the choir of the church of St. Andrew’s and St. Paul’s in Montreal, are also included on the Christmas playlist. A new playlist will be added each week.

“We look forward to sharing more of our themed playlists organized around mood, season, genre, or artists on Apple Music,” says ATMA president Johanne Goyette. “ATMA's rich and extensive catalogue of more than 500 titles ranging from medieval to modern offers endless possibilities for us to curate playlists to suit every mood and occasion.”
