Description
Canada’s foremost bandonéonist Denis Plante presents transcriptions of Ástor Piazzolla’s seminal works for bandonéon and guitar. Following the success of his award-winning ATMA CD Tango Boréal, Plante’s new recording is a return to the very essence of tango: just his bandonéon and David Jacques’s guitar. His unique approach to performance and to composition has made him one of the leading exponents of the bandoneon in Canada, as well as a respected figure on the world stage of contemporary tango.
