Description
Driven by her love of “spiritual” and traditional nativity songs, Marie-Josée Lord takes the path of spirituality for her very first Christmas album. Surrounded by the Epiphanie Vocal Ensemble, she notably performs some well-known Gospels including Amazing Grace and Couldn’t Hear Nobody Pray. Accompanied by Jean-Willy Kunz on the organ of the Saint-Jean-Baptiste Church in Montreal and violinist Antoine Bareil, Marie-Josée Lord also sings Christmas classics such as Bach-Gounod’s Ave Maria, Adolphe Adam’s Minuit, Chrétiens!, as well as White Christmas, popularized by Bing Crosby.
