La Geniale offers a wide variety of sinfonias and concertos for recorder, oboe and violin by baroque composers such as Alessandro Scarlatti, Antonio Vivaldi and Giuseppe Torelli. These works are performed Les Boréades de Montréal with star recorder-player Francis Colpron. He has been recognized these past few years as one of the most talented recorder players in Canada and around the world. His musical qualities and his capacity to innovate both in the artistic and interpretative spheres have been acclaimed by the public, and critics alike.
