For his first classical CD, tenor Marc Hervieux performs Christmas songs with the choir Les Disciples de Massenet, accompanied on the organ by Régis Rousseau. Titled The First Christmas, the album includes a selection of favorite traditional holiday songs. A well-known performer in opera houses both at home and abroad, Marc Hervieux is joined here by the choir Les Disciples de Massenet, directed by Lucie Roy, organist Régis Rousseau and Jennifer Swartz, solo harpist of the Montreal Symphony Orchestra.
