Passionate about the music of our time, Quasar was founded in 1993 in Montreal. The quartet is primarily dedicated to the creation and promotion of contemporary music, with a particular focus on Canadian music. It regularly commissions works from composers and has several premieres to its credit, a selection of which is offered in this captivating recording.
